Tarneeb is a four-player partnership card game where players sit across from each other, forming two teams. It is played with a standard deck of playing cards (52 cards, excluding jokers) and follows a counterclockwise direction.

The highest bidder determines which suit will be trump. The bidding starts clockwise, to the left of the dealer, giving the dealer last bid.
